Preferred Offices Acquires Synergy Workplaces Locations; Expands Operations Outside Of Washington, DC-Metro Area To Seven Major Business Markets Across The Country

Growth of Alternative Workplace Market Demonstrates Need for Integrated, Flexible Work Spaces for Professionals and Growth Enterprises

WASHINGTON, August 28 2009 – Preferred Offices, a Washington, DC-based provider of alternative workplace solutions, has acquired certain business center assets of New York-based Synergy Workplaces. With this acquisition, Preferred more than doubles its operations from ten locations throughout metro-Washington, DC to a total of twenty three offices in seven new markets, including southern California, Florida, Atlanta, Boston, northern New Jersey, Westchester (NY) County, and Chicago. Preferred, through its Preferred Offices and Synergy brands, now operates innovative workplaces meeting the needs of more than 1,500 clients nationwide.
