1. FREE REGISTRATION – It is free to register your Business Center with DC Executive Space.
2.NEW CLIENT INTRODUCTIONS & INTERACTION – An effective introduction is initiated when a representative with DC Executive Space makes an inquiry with a Business Center representative. An inquiry may be made via telephone, email, fax, or in person. As a consultant for our clients, in most cases we will act as a liaison between our clients and the Business Center. All interaction and correspondence should be directed to a DC Executive Space representative unless a client specifically requests direct contact with the Business Center, in which case the Business Center should copy DC Executive Space on such correspondence.
3. CLOSING A DEAL – DC Executive Space will inform the Business Center when a client chooses its location. The Business Center will send DC Executive Space the contract, service agreement, and any or all paperwork necessary to commence services. After thorough review with the client, DC Executive Space or client will return the completed paperwork with payment to the Business Center. In the event client and the Business Center execute a contract or Service agreement directly, it is the responsibility of the Business Center to inform DC Executive Space.
4.COMMISSION STRUCTURE – When a client introduced by DC Executive Space (via telephone, email, fax, or in person), takes occupancy or acquires the services of your Business Center as a result of our introduction, it is the responsibility of the Business Center to advise in writing, at which time our introductory fees/commission shall become payable. Our fee is 10% of the full contract value as stated in the Service Agreement (including base rent + services) for a period of up to twelve months. Should the client retain DC Executive Space to negotiate and/or review renewal or expansion terms, our fee is 2% on renewals and 5% on expansions, unless separately otherwise negotiated.
5.PAYMENT – Payment of invoices is due upon receipt. Invoices are considered late if payment is not received within fifteen days of the invoice date. Invoices will be issued when a Contract or Service Agreement and payment is submitted to the Business Center by or on behalf of our client. A late fee of $100 or 5% of the unpaid balance (whichever is more) will be assessed on invoices once they are past 30 days late. An additional late fee of $100 will be assessed each month a balance remains unpaid.
6.CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP – In the event that a Business Center (or an entire group or part of a group of Business Centers) is sold; it is the responsibility of the Business Center to advise DC Executive Space in writing and to ensure the new owners are aware of the future commission payment obligation to DC Executive Space. In the event this does not happen, the remaining commission payments should be paid by the original owner(s).
